By purchasing a ticket, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the Terms & Conditions as set out below:

 

  1. TICKETS
    • To be admitted you must be in possession of a valid ticket and must provide proof of eligibility for any concession.
    • Admission tickets are per person and need to be in the correct name.
    • Admission tickets are only valid for the date stated in the order.
    • It is your responsibility to ensure that any tickets issued to you are accurate.
    • All other tickets (i.e. Special event passes, photo shoot, talks) are “add on” tickets and are only valid if accompanied by an admission ticket for the same day.
    • Any persons wishing to redeem an “add on” ticket that does not does not have an admission ticket for that day they may not be able to gain entry to the museum to use it.
    • We will NOT refund any “add on” tickets due to the reason that the person who wishes to use them does not have an admission ticket for that day. Before purchasing “add on” tickets. Please ensure you already have, or purchase at the same time, the relevant admission ticket that you will need.
    • Tickets may not be resold for commercial purposes or at a premium. If a ticket is resold in breach of this condition, the bearer of the ticket or the person claiming the right to attend will be refused admission.
    • Any concession or carers tickets must be accompanied by the correct documentation. We reserve the right to request this documentation and that if it is not presented the ticket will be invalid.
    • We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone for any reason what-so-ever, but mainly to include those that cause disturbance or refuse to comply with reasonable requests from the event management team. Any such persons may be removed from the premises.
    • When purchasing multiple tickets, you accept these terms and conditions on behalf of all persons you are purchasing tickets on behalf of, and you accept responsibility for all payments due from the aforementioned persons.
    • The National Film & Sci-fi Museum reserves the right to place restrictions on the volume of any tickets ordered; the number of places available for events and / or timed entry into the museum.
    • Tickets will be received via E-ticket by electronic mail which can be printed or displayed on a smart device.
    • The price (including all taxes where relevant) of all tickets are specified on the website.
    • The National Film & Sci-fi Museum cannot guarantee entry for latecomers; please allow time to travel to arrive before the advertised time on your ticket(s). In the event you arrive after the time on your ticket, the National Film & Sci-fi Museum will attempt to accommodate you, but this is not guaranteed.
    • Neither you nor the National Film & Sci-fi Museum shall be liable to the other in respect of loss, damage or delay, or any failure to deliver if the cause of such loss etc., shall arise from any act of government or other competent authority or any public utility or external, postal, or courier services or Internet Service Provider, flood, storm, tempest or other freak of nature, riot, civil or commotion, action of hostile foreign state (whether or not a formal declaration of war has been made given or received) fire, explosion, malicious damage, act of God or other force major occurrence which could not have been avoided or mitigated by the application of due diligence or foresight.

 

  1. REFUNDS & EXCHANGES.
    • Entry tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable unless The National Film & Sci-fi Museum is unable to open due to government restrictions. In the event that this should occur then the tickets will valid for a future date.
    • The National Film & Sci-fi Museum do not take responsibility for any missed activities due to not being present for the full duration of the event. If you have “add on” tickets for an activity such as a photo shoot, please check the event schedule to ensure you know what time you need to be in present. Please also allow time for queuing to enter the event.
    • Guests attending any special event appear subject to professional work and personal commitments. Should a guest postpone their appearance to a future event, then if you have a guest specific add on ticket then it will become valid for their new event appearance automatically. Any event entry ticket will remain valid, and so not refunded, unless the event is cancelled.

 

  1. DATA SECURITY
    • The holders of the ‘Friend of…’ ticket package acknowledge the name entered into the order will that used for the website and is the responsibility of the person completing the form.
    • A small padlock icon should be visible in the address bar next to the website address. This is to guarantee that your actions are safe. The website address should also start with https:// (the S stands for secure). Finally, if you click the padlock symbol or just to the left of the address bar, you should see information on the site certificate. This should tell you who has registered the site.

 

  1. HEALTH & SAFETY
    • The National Film & Sci-fi Museum team is committed to making sure that all our visitors have an amazing experience however individuals have the responsibility to ensuring their visit is within their capabilities and if necessary have carried out their own risk assessment.
